Heron gallery, along with a beautiful garden, leafy walks, spectacular views and an award winning cafe also boasts three very friendly and lovebale Kunekune pigs. Kunekunes, from New Zealand, are hairy with a rotund belly and wattles (or piri piri) hanging from their lower jaw. They have a docile and very friendly nature, and what is less well known, are fabulous subjects for a portrait.
Here, featured at Heron gallery, is Fuschia the pig in the flesh and also pictured by resident artist Annabel Langrish. Come and see Fuschia and pals in the garden, and you can also buy a print or card of Fuschia and many other animals and birds in the gallery shop.
