Fernhill House was Clonakilty’s most luxurious Georgian mansion and the O’Neill family are restoring this opulence through their gardens.
The extensive landscaping has created many features including an orchard, ponds, chinese garden and woodland walks. The house, with an extensive history relating to the area, has views towards the birthplace of Michael Collins. The house is also associated with Henry Thomas Wright, Mary Boone Hungerford and Lord Atkin, a judge who changed the legal world.
