About Clonakilty Community Gardens

The Clonakilty Community Garden is a social innovation and education space, where knowledge and resources are shared for food growing, community integration and social inclusion. The project has been in existence for 4 years and has developed from a green field site to a mature garden and social space at the centre of Clonakilty.

The Garden originated as a resource for asylum seekers living in Clonakilty, providing a space for growing their food, experience fulfilling work and integration. In addition to providing improved nutrition and physical activity, the garden has major mental health benefits. Look out for workshops and social gatherings coming up in spring and summer on our Facebook page.

OPENING TIMES
We meet on Wednesday morning most weeks to work and learn together, from 10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
