About Dunmanway Community Gardens
Dunmanway Community Garden is a space available for all ages to enjoy. The garden is supported by Dunmanway Family Resource Centre’s workers and its many volunteers.
It has demonstration composting systems, a wheelchair accessible gardening area, community cooking area, polytunnels, a sandpit, slide and toys for children. The garden hosts a variety of activities throughout the year.
Everyone is welcome! During harvest seasons, produce is available for a recommended donation.
Monday to Friday 9.30 a.m. – 4.30 p.m. for self guided visits but if you would like someone to show you around (and make a cuppa tea) phone in advance to arrange a time!
There is no charge for visiting the garden (donations are always welcome at the gate)
Dunmanway Community Garden is situated in Tonafora on Bantry road. If leaving Dunmanway town and driving out the Bantry road, pass Londis
