About Dunmanway Community Gardens

Dunmanway Community Gardens is run by volunteers in the local community and hosts a variety of weekly activities inc. gardening groups, craft group, after- schools club, parent and toddler group as well as whole community events such as Street Feast.

We have demonstration composting systems, a wheelchair accessible gardening area, community cooking area, polytunnels, sandpit, slide and toys for the children – this fabulous garden needs to be seen to be believed!

Produce is available in the garden for a donation.

The garden is open to visitors all day every
day for self-guided visits but if you want to be sure that there will be someone there to show
you around (and make a cuppa tea) the best times are Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. from 26th March – September 28th

There is no charge for visiting the garden (although donations are always welcome)
