Pinetree Lodge Garden

Our one-acre garden is slightly elevated, giving panoramic views over the surrounding rolling countryside.

Pinetree 3

Experience this hidden gem of an elevated one- acre organic garden set in rolling countryside having magnificent scenic views. Explore the garden rooms as defined by naturally occurring stone and 19th century cut stone walls, native and non-native trees, acid loving shrubs and herbaceous borders and rockeries giving colour and fragrance for most of the year.

See and learn what plants, flowers and fruit attract bees, butterflies and other pollinators which, together with a pond full of fish, frogs and insects, make the garden an oasis of biodiversity.  Understand domestic composting and how the recycling of kitchen and green waste makes a key contribution to vibrant new growth in a garden.

Sit, be mindful and be at peace at one of many seating places in the garden.
