Ardea Gardens is mature 11 acre garden on Lehid Harbor with stunning views across the Beara Peninsula, Kerry Mountains and Wild Atlantic Ocean. We offer an international selection of mature plants that thrive in our peninsula’s unique temperate rainforest environment. From native hazel, birch, ancient oaks and pines, to imports from temperate rainforests in Japan, New Zealand, Australia and the American West - you will rarely find such mature specimens of native and exotic plants. Come walk our trails that weave around seven ornamental ponds, the rainforest, and lush flora and fauna that are in bloom almost year round. Venture 60 meters down to sea level for incomparable views of Lehid River & Harbor and our own private waterfall.
