For the community, by the community, in the heart of the community
Dunmanway Community Garden is a space available for all ages to enjoy. The garden is supported by Dunmanway Family Resource Centre’s workers and its many volunteers.
It has demonstration composting systems, a wheelchair accessible gardening area, a community cooking area, polytunnels and a sandpit, slide and toys for children. The garden hosts a variety of activities throughout the year.
Everyone is welcome! During harvest season, produce is available for a recommended donation.
Open Monday to Friday from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm
There is no charge for visiting the garden, although donations are always welcome.
Dunmanway Community Garden is situated in Tonafora on the Bantry road.
If leaving Dunmanway town and driving out the Bantry road, pass Londis on your right and take the next right-hand turn into Tonafora and then turn left. Drive straight until you arrive at the Dunmanway Community Garden.
