These romantic gardens by the sea are constantly evolving
These romantic gardens have been constantly changing and evolving and we are now working toward a more sustainable future. The garden will still be beautiful and productive but with an emphasis more on environmental and wildlife management.
We are extensively planting trees and shrubs specifically chosen for their benefits to bees, butterflies and other wildlife. We are enhancing our herb gardens, flower borders, our old meadow and our vegetable garden with continued use of natural and environmental management, still retaining the peace and tranquillity that we have always strived for.
- The garden has been featured in The Irish Garden by Jane Powers and Jonathan Hession and Open Gardens of Ireland by Shirley Lanigan.
- The café is no longer open but takeaway coffee/tea will be available.
