My herbal garden is situated near the picturesque village of Ballydehob with lovely views of the surrounding countryside and long views to Roaringwater Bay. There are several areas devoted to the growing of native and non-native species of plants, which I harvest and utilise in my clinical practice. The herbs gardens although structured maintain a ‘wild’ aspect and have beautiful blooms in the summer months which attract bees and butterflies.
- Car parking available. not suitable for coaches.
- All of the plants in the garden have medicinal actions and uses and some are edible. These can be discussed on a tour around the garden, if desired.
- B&B accommodation available
Eircode P81 XK13.
Go up the main street in Ballydehob and turn right at the top of hill at Vincent Coughlan’s Pub, the Steakhouse.
Pass the school and Church of Ireland on the left and 230m on, take the first left turn (not the 2 left turns before to houses) after the church.
Go up the hill and my entrance is the 3rd on the left at the top.
